All In Together
Message Listening Guide
Guiding Question: Why do some groups change lives—while others fizzle out or feel like a waste of time?
Jesus Calls Us Into Community
Jesus didn’t call individuals to grow alone—He called disciples into community (Mark 3:13-14). His plan for transformation was shared life together.
Acts 2 shows this same pattern: worshiping in the temple and meeting in homes (Acts 2:46)
Community is an essential part of God’s formation plan for you.
The Sweet Spot of Great Groups (Romans 12:9–16)
Real love can’t exist where people are pretending. Paul urges us to drop the mask and show up as we really are—warts and all (v.9).
The goal isn’t comfort—it’s Christlikeness. A transformational group helps you reject sin, pursue what’s right, and keep growing even when it’s hard. (v. 9, 11)
Deep relationships require deep devotion. Great groups stay connected, share burdens, pray for one another, and create space where every person matters. (v. 10, 12–16)
You are an essential part of God’s formation plan for your community.
The Point: A transformational group is where you are accepted completely and challenged consistently.
Application: Don’t Just Go to Group—Grow the Group
Be Honest → Are you showing up without a mask?
Be Clear → Are you calling others toward truth in love?
Be Devoted → Are you consistently investing in your group?
