No Leftovers Allowed

Guiding Question: Have you ever felt like God was giving you the bare minimum?
God Provided Just Enough
In the wilderness, God sent manna—bread from heaven—as daily provision for His people (Exodus 16:1–5, 17–18).
They weren’t allowed to hoard it, except before the Sabbath, reinforcing a rhythm of trust one day at a time (Exodus 16:19–30).
Moses later explained that their hunger was a test: real life comes not just from bread, but from God’s Word (Deuteronomy 8:3).
Jesus teaches us to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread,” inviting us into that same posture of trust—not anxious striving (Matthew 6:11).
In John 6, Jesus reveals the deeper meaning of manna: it pointed to Him. He is the Bread of Life, and only He satisfies forever (John 6:31–35).
The Point: Just enough is the perfect portion when God is teaching you to trust Him one day at a time.
Application: Each morning, name where you feel stretched thin—where you’re lacking strength, time, clarity, or provision. Then pray: “Jesus, I trust that You are enough for today, please give me what I need for today.”
Closing Thought: You may not see bread fall from the sky, but when you hold the bread and cup, you're holding the proof: God is faithful. In Jesus, He’s already given you the Bread of Life—enough for today, and enough forever.
